Classes cover a variety of Ayurvedic techniques, philosophy, and practical healing skills.
Learn Ayurvedic techniques to stay cool during the peak of summer. We will cover the energetic qualities of spices, food and lifestyle habits that lower heat in the body and mind. Participate in cooling breathing techniques and relaxing yoga postures. Learn to cook and then enjoy eating a delicious, cooling Ayurvedic meal. Class will be held outside in garden at the Sandpoint Library. If it is raining, we will move inside. Please wear comfortable, easy to move in clothing and bring a blanket or yoga mat to enjoy the relaxing, restorative yoga postures. Don’t forget to bring a healthy appetite!
